Acclaimed Actress Diane Ladd, Known For Her Role in Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, Dies at the Age of 89.
The Oscar-nominated actor Diane Ladd, a Hollywood veteran passed away 89 years old.
This star, whose roles spanned Chinatown, died at her home at her Ojai, California home. This announcement was announced in a statement from her child, award-winning actress her daughter Laura Dern.
Dern, who appeared with Diane Ladd in a number of films like Rambling Rose, referred to her as “my amazing hero as well as my precious gift as a mother”, noting that she was by her side during her final moments.
“She was the most wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist as well as empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” she wrote. “We were lucky to have her. Her spirit soars with angels.”
